In the USAID IUWASH PLUS E-Newsletter, September 2017 Edition, we present various stories about how collaboration can be the key to success in improving access to water supply, sanitation, and hygiene behavior for communities. In Medan City, we present the story of Medan City Government’s collaboration with various parties that in the end bear sweet fruit in the form of construction of water supply, sanitation and the rehabilitation of uninhabitable houses especially for Low Income Communities (MBR). From Probolinggo, we acknowledge the figure of Pak Neli who actively collaborates and innovates with various parties in providing LLTT for the community. In Magelang, we will look at the process of how the community is engaged to become the subject of change in their neighborhood. Furthermore, from Ternate, a joint working process for WASH access with private parties through CSR approach has also begun. In addition to those stories, INDOWATER FORUM 2017, a major event in the field of WASH and GIS training in Bekasi City are also reported. Hopefully, this E-newsletter’s September 2017 Edition is useful and can provide inspiration. Happy Reading!
