Basis for Award:
An award will be made based on the Trade Off Method. The award will be issued to the responsible and reasonable offeror who provides the best value to DAI and its client using a combination of technical and cost/price factors.

 

 Background:

During its 34-year history, DAI has successfully completed more than 1,850 assignments, and has conducted studies and evaluations, identified and designed technical assistance activities, and implemented over 300 long term Programs.

DAI has worked in over 149 countries. Current Programs are located in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe, and the former Soviet Union. DAI maintains four regional offices and an extensive network of international affiliates and representatives.

In Indonesia, DAI’s work is generally organized under specific agreement that have been awarded to the Company. In most cases, these agreements are held and managed by DAI’s headquarters in the US, with operations in Indonesia solely focused on the implementation of specific contract activities.

At this point, DAI has 3 (three) projects: USAID IUWASH Tangguh, Indonesia— DAI Fleming Fund Country Grant to Indonesia (DAI FFCGI) – Southeast Asia—Addressing Labor Exploitation in Fishing in ASEAN (ALFA). USAID IUWASH Tangguh Project is 5 years USAID Project and will end on April 2027 with 497 participants (Employees and family up to March 2023. DAI Fleming Fund Country Grant to Indonesia (DAI FFCGI)  Indonesia—Fleming Fund  is a four-year project funded by U.K Department of Health and Social Care  project and will end on 31 December 2023 , and DAI – Southeast Asia—Addressing Labor Exploitation in Fishing in ASEAN (ALFA) is a four-year project supported by the U.S. Department of Labor and will end on June 2026.

In support of program implementation, DAI invites qualified offerors to submit proposals to supply and deliver a health insurance services package.

Proposed Mechanism

Proposed mechanism of the activity will be implemented through Fixed Price Purchase Order.
